December 29, 2021 – Interactio celebrates winning the Lithuanian Ideas Go Global nomination, awarded by the Global Lithuanian Awards (GLA). We are proud to represent Lithuania on a global scale and will continue to gather local and international talent together to connect the multilingual world.

About Global Lithuanian Awards

Global Lithuanian Awards (GLA) are dedicated to rewarding the top achievements of Lithuanian professionals and entrepreneurs who bring Lithuania to the global stage and support the country locally. Lithuanian Ideas Go Global category celebrates revolutionary business ideas that change the world and succeed internationally.

"The world has never been so big and so small at the same time, with so many different things around. Different thoughts, ideas, words. It’s more important than ever to connect it all and create meaning,” said Jurgita Judickiene, Attorney at Law and Partner at Triniti Jurex, who introduced the winners of the Ideas Go Global award.

Interactio ideas go global

Founded in 2014 in Lithuania with a goal of building bridges to limitless knowledge, being global has always been at the core of Interactio. We connect the world through our remote interpretation platform, regardless of distance, country, or language.

After a 12-fold growth in 2020, we brought our commitment to being international, both internally and externally, to a new level. How does Interactio make the idea of erasing language barriers go global?

  • We help democracy grow every day by making multilingual conversations happen and exchanging knowledge where needed – in the European Parliament, European Commission, United Nations, and other governmental institutions.
  • We connect multilingual organizations across the world in their native languages and foster better teamwork with no cultural, distance, or language barriers in Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Mary Kay, J. P. Morgan, and more.
  • We make the world more inclusive and accessible to people throughout the globe, supporting meetings and events in more than 111 countries and 100+ languages.
“Being from a small European country, it is certainly not easy to knock on the door of a world-class player. On the other hand, it really helps to focus on what we value and why they should choose us over a more familiar country. Seeing how interpretation changes and helps people’s understanding, knowledge, and lives, we have a clear vision – to reach every person in the world so that they can speak and understand the language of their choice.”

Simona Andrijauskaitė, the Co-Founder of Interactio.

Driven by the vision of the world where one can speak any language and be understood, Interactio has closed one of the largest Series A ($30M) in the Baltics. Since the beginning of 2021, we have also invited more than 200 industry professionals to the team, expanding internationally but still keeping the Lithuanian roots.

“Lately, a lot of people have been asking for that success story as we conquered the world with simultaneous interpretation overnight. The reality is that it actually took us eight years.”

Simona Andrijauskaitė, the Co-Founder of Interactio.

Reflecting on our hyper-growth journey and its recognition today, we are grateful to be the leading Lithuanian company to spread world-changing ideas. We will continue to pursue our goal, making Lithuania go global – one interpreted event at a time.
