Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is an NGO that acts as a global leader in addressing the water crisis worldwide. Throughout 30 years, the institute has united global thinkers and decision-makers in a conversation on water protection and has offered guidance on water governance, water diplomacy, and cooperation. With a goal to create a Water Wise World, SIWI hosts regular events where entrepreneurs, policymakers, and international organizations discuss the water crisis and find solutions together. In the light of pandemic regulations, the institute needed a platform that unites global leaders online for an accessible and inclusive discussion.

World Water Week is the leading annual event addressing the planet’s major water issues. As a platform for non-English thinkers, researchers, and entrepreneurs from all over the world, World Water Week wouldn’t be possible without high-quality interpretation.
With the first fully remote World Water Week in 30 years, the organizers had to find an alternative to on-site interpretation that would provide the same level of reliability. With no physical location to host the attendees, the event had to unite the participants across 188 countries and 8 languages.
